Every woman has different sized and shaped legs. Some styles will fit easily first time and others will need slight stretching in areas before you get that perfect fit. Here at BB’s we give you all the measurements of each boot size and style so you can make sure you get the right fit for you. We are also moving away from the Pleather (manmade leather) and focusing on genuine leather. The natural qualities of leather make the boots more flexible and durable. The same qualities I like to see in my men. Lol!
GETTING THEM ON:
1.
Try them on in the morning:
Like feet, your calves expand and retract depending on the temperature, so in the morning your legs are likely to be the coolest therefore the slimmest giving you the best chance of fitting the boots. Once on as you go through the day the boots will expand and retract with your legs and from then on you should have no problem getting your boots on.
2.
Push them down, zip up and then pull them up:
If you have only a small gap that you can’t zip up then push them down to the slimmest part of your leg, the ankle, zip them up then pull then up over the widest part. Depending on the gap it may take a little while for the boots to stretch enough to get over the calf but once they have stretched and fit you will be able to put them on easily from then on.
3.
Zip and wear, zip and wear, zip and wear and your there:
As the heading states zip your boots up as far as they go; wear them around for a few minutes allowing the leather to stretch then zip them up a bit further and so on until they are all the way up. Once they are up wear for a few hours and you they will fit from then on without an issue.
4.
Get them professionally stretched:
For around $10 you can go to your local shoe repairer and get the boots stretched. Like the above tips the boots can only be stretched within the boundaries of the leather. 2-3cm max depending on the style and shape of the boot. There is also a streching spary available but we suggest you spray the inside of the boot so as not to damage the leather.
Choosing the right boots:
When choosing your BB’s boot on each style page there is a chart with all the sizes you will need. These sizes are measurements of the boot top (Calf)
and narrowest part of the boot (ankle).
First find you normal shoe size; looking at the table you will find the calf and ankle size for that size boot. Make sure your measurements are below these sizes.
*All boot measurements are estimates as the boots are individually handmade thus causing slight variances
*Please choose your sizes carefully as we do not exchange and you will be liable for any extra expense incurred for returning your boots. We do give a 100% refund of the boot cost (minus postage) if they are returned within 14 days of purchase.
